Equitable representation, final stretch, medical malpractice, cannabis review, work ruling, and a very controversial candy bill. Welcome to Tuesday.
Hey, it's Colin, your PA Post editor, and today is #GivingTuesday...
We're SO CLOSE to the halfway mark of our historic end-of-year fundraising goal of $70,000 in support of Spotlight PA's vital investigative journalism. Help us end November with a bang by making a gift now.
We need to raise $2,500 by the end of today to stay on track. As a bonus, all contributions will be DOUBLED.
We've been issued an urgent challenge: If we raise $70,000 by Dec. 31, we'll unlock $70,000 in matching gifts. And we're nearly halfway there!
Don't miss this chance to support Spotlight PA's vital investigative journalism and have your contribution DOUBLED. The future of Spotlight PA depends on your support, and we can't afford to lose this critical journalism.

RECONSIDER REQUEST: Montgomery County prosecutors are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to reinstate Bill Cosby's sexual assault conviction, the AP reports. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court threw out the conviction because of an immunity agreement.
ON THE JOB: The state Supreme Court ruled a traveling salesperson was on the clock when he was injured in a car crash leaving a work-sponsored happy hour, City Paper reports. “While work may not have been discussed ... the event still benefited employer by fostering relationships and improving morale," Justice Sallie Updyke Mundy wrote.
DOUBLE NOMS: The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's recording of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 is nominated for two Grammy Awards. Listen to part of it on YouTube here.
BRAIN POWER: If you've turned to Pittsburgh-based Duolingo in an attempt to learn a new language, you may have been struck by just how weird some of the sentences are. Slate gets into the science behind that choice.
